They do some things really, really well in Switzerland. Making cheese, for instance, and building the baddest freeride skis on the planet - the Stöckli Stormrider 95 Skis. Iconic is a word that gets tossed around a lot, but if there is an icon in the all-mountain ripper category, the Stormrider 95 is it. This is classic sandwich, full sidewall construction with a sheet of Titanal on top and designed for the skier who rips GS turns at the top of the face, hucks the bergschrund, and straightlines the rest because they know eventually it will flatten out and slow down. As timeless as a Patek Phillipe watch and just about as rare, the Stormrider 95 is a surprisingly affordable way to get yourself a little piece of Switzerland.
