The Speedmachine 105w shouldn't scare you off because it has a 3 digit flex number, while it's built for an expert skier it's a more approachable flex pattern that'll be great for aspiring skiers.  A strong construction that provides great responsiveness so you get every ounce of fun out of your ski set up.

How's the fit? The Nordica SpeedMachine3 105w is a forgiving 100 mm last with a slightly longer toe box. There is less room on top of the instep of the Speedmachine than other 100 mm lasted boots. The Speedmachine 105 is going to feel more secure around the ankle and heel than the SpeedMachine 95 or 85.
