DESCRIPTION
The Mindbender Team men’s-specific ski boot is new for the 2022-2023 season and is packed with performance enhancers.
We increased the flex rating to a 140 and kept the weight down to create a ski boot that’s stiff, powerful, nimble, and ready to take on both lift-assisted or backcountry endeavors.
Take control of the mountain with K2’s customizable Powerfit Pro Tour liner, Powerlite Shell, and a walk mode, giving skiers 50-degrees of range of motion.
PRODUCT DETAILS
- POWERFIT PRO TOUR LINER:
- Pre-molded and lasted with Ultralon heat-moldable foam. Featuring stiffer foam and a stiff,
- asymmetric tongue for added power and energy transmission, pre-molded ankle pockets, and a high-density power collar. Includes a tour notch at the back of the ankle for increased comfort and range of motion while hiking and skinning.
- POWERLITE SHELL:
- K2's highest-performance shell design, utilizing shell walls of varying thicknesses and four different types of TPU to provide the ultimate combination of light weight and responsiveness.
- FASTFIT INSTEP:
- Softer TPU material is used in the instep area of select models' shells for quick and easy entry and exit.
- ENERGY INTERLOCK:
- A rivet-free technology that integrates the cuff and shell, putting less stress on the boot’s material and produces a smoother, progressive flex.
- POWERLOCK SPYNE:
- A performance-oriented walk mode designed for ski touring that offers a 50-degree range of motion. When in ski mode, Powerlock Spyne provides a powerful and secure connection for uncompromised downhill performance.
- FULLY HEAT-MOLDABLE:
- Both the boot's shell and cuff are capable of being heat-molded to a variety of foot shapes for a true custom fit.
- PEBAX BIO-RESIN:
- Lightweight, eco-friendly material for energetic and consistent flex across a wide range of temperatures.
- GRIP WALK OUTSOLES:
- Removable and interchangeable ISO 23223 alpine rockered soles collaboratively designed to work with Marker’s Grip Walk binding system for better grip and added comfort when walking and standing in boots, but doesn’t compromise the power transmission and release function between the boot and binding when skiing. Preinstalled.
- INTEGRATED TECH FITTINGS:
- Tech fittings in the toe and heel are fully integrated into the shell injection, allowing for compatibility with both tech bindings and alpine DIN bindings.
- FRICTION FREE CUFF PIVOT:
- An easy-hinging cuff pivot designed to provide minimal resistance while in walk mode.
- BOOSTER POWERSTRAP:
- Booster Straps provide maximum ski boot performance, increased control and shin protecting shock-absorption.
