Why can't I shop on your website?


Unfortunately our website is undergoing a major overhaul. We'll be adding products to this website for browsing. We realize it's very frustrating especially when you're excited about snow in the mountains and being ready for the season. Holidays are coming soon and we want to help you get ready. What is your return/exchange policy?


Unused items may be returned for a full refund within 90 days from purchase date. Both from stores and online. After 90 days and up to 1 year, items returned will receive a store credit on a gift card (91-365 days). Returned items need to be unused, in new condition, with tags. If you lose your receipt we will have record of your purchase when you use an email or phone number at the time of purchase. Please call the store or email if you have questions about a purchase. What is Sturtevant's Performance Guarantee?


Your comfort and satisfaction are very important to us; therefore, we are happy to offer you the following guarantees:

Ski/Snowboard Boots

Sturtevant’s guarantees that the boots we select for you, based on your stated skiing/snowboarding style, needs, wants and the actual shape and contour of your foot will perform as stated and fit as designed. A properly fit ski/snowboard boot can still cause minor problems and discomfort when first used as there is no way to replicate the on-hill environment in the store. Therefore, it may be necessary for you to return to the store for additional fit adjustments. If following 2-3 fit sessions, we are unable to fit the boots to our mutual satisfaction we will offer you a credit under our guarantee.

Important Note:

If:

- you choose to purchase a boot model and/or size against our recommendation,

- or you do not allow Sturtevant’s the opportunity to adjust the fit to our satisfaction,

- or you do not return within a reasonable amount of time (no problem within a year, and at our sole discretion beyond a year)

then we reserve the right to void the boot fit guarantee. In addition, equipment must be in reasonably good condition; excessive damage will void the guarantee.

Skis/Snowboards:

Sturtevant’s guarantees that the skis/snowboard we select for you, based on your stated skiing/snowboarding style, ability, needs, wants and equipment history will perform as stated. We ask that you ski/snowboard on the skis/snowboard as least two (2) days, but no more than five (5), to give the skis/snowboard a fair chance. In some cases we may recommend having our shop re-tune the skis/snowboard to improve their performance. If at that time you are still not satisfied with the performance of the skis/snowboard, we will offer you a credit under our guarantee.

Important note:

If:

- you choose to purchase a boot model and/or size against our recommendation,

What is the pricing for Tunes and Binding mounts?

How does Curbside Pick Up work?


We have friendly and knowledgable staff ready to answer your questions and work with you one-on-one. Just let us know what you're looking for and we can help select items for you, your family and also select gifts. FREE shipping on orders over $50.00 GIFT CARDS can be purchased over the phone and we can mail or you can pick up curbside. Ask for a gift card box and ribbon too. What is your COVID 19 safety protocol?


Facial masks are required of all staff and customers. We require all customers to use hand sanitizer or the hand washing station. Appointments are highly recommended for shopping espcially on weekends (not required). TENNIS customers DO NOT need an appointment to drop off racquets for stringing. TUNE SHOP - you DO NOT need an appointment to drop off equipment. The space is very small for drop off so please be patient if you need to wait your turn. We are limiting the number of customers in the store at any given time to maintain recommended 6' social distancing. Our boot fitting area has plexiglass dividers between customers. We use a disinfectant spray on boots that have been tried on. We use the same spray to disinfect helmets and apparel that have been tried on. Goggles that have been tried on go into our UV sanitizing box to cleanse and protect.

Thanks. 1) APPOINTMENTS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ESPECIALLY FRI, SAT, SUN. 2) WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO COME IN RIGHT AWAY. 3) WHEN YOU ARRIVE IT'S POSSIBLE YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT FOR STORE CAPACITY TO OPEN UP. 4) Our staff are doing their best to accomodate customers in our stores. All of our stores are operating at limited capacity. 5) Please bring only essential shoppers. Large groups and large families are difficult to accomodate. 6) Fri, Sat, & Sun are very busy. 7) When you make an appointment it is set for 1 hour and can be for 1 shopper. 8) Shopping with 2-3 people or more? The ski wall area is limited and we don't have room for large groups. > Snowboards: this space is limited. We have customers trying on boots plus looking at snowboards and bindings. Sturtevant's TENNIS > You do not need an appointment to drop off your racquet for stringing. Please pay at drop off to make your pick up easier. > Stringing lead time is 48 hours at this time. Ski Mart Bellevue: > Season Rental (fitting, payment and pickup). Highly recommended to book an appointment (Fri-Sun) but not required. > New ski and snowboard boot purchase and general shopping. > Please only bring essential shoppers. > ONLY bring items that need service (tunes or binding mounts) or you are bringing for Trade-In. DO NOT BRING extra apparel or equipment to try on in the store. Ski Mart Tacoma: > Season Rental: no appointment needed at this time. First come, first served. Space is limited. > Boot Fitting: appointments available weekdays and weekends. > Please only bring essential shoppers. > ONLY bring items that need service (tunes or binding mounts) or you are bringing for Trade-In. DO NOT BRING extra apparel or equipment to try on in the store. TUNE SHOP: > Lead Time varies and changes daily for tunes and binding mounts so please PLAN AHEAD. Expect 4+ days. > Appointments are not needed to drop off your equipment. > Space is limited. You may need to wait outside at Sturtevant's. > Pay when you drop off. That will make your pick up easier for you and our staff. We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility during this time. Your experience is important to us.
