Blizzard Bonafide Skis - Men's:
The legendary Bonafide continues to set the bar in the all-mountain freeride world. A versatile all-mountain sidecut and reduced rocker profile makes this ski nimble and easy handling, while the proven Carbon Flipcore™ with two sheets of Titinal makes them calm, confident and powerful. Attack the mountain in powder, crud, groomers or rock hard snow and feel the precision and exhilaration that athletes and testers rave about. Try for yourself to see what the hype is all about. You won't regret it.
Rocker Type
- Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
- Rocker Concept – New progressive rocker concept with slightly reduced rocker in the tip and tail helps to increase the carving character on groomed slopes and improve flotation off the slope.
Shape
- Shape Concept – Traditional easy turning sidecut creates a perfect all-mountain feel. More aggressive tip shape provides better turn initiation. More traditional flat tails help to improve stability and flotation.
Core
- Poplar-Beech Wood Core
- Carbon Flipcore Technology – A revolutionary rockered ski production process that incorporates a uni-directional carbon frame onto the core of the ski that results in great performance with a light and easy feel.
Laminates
- Bi-Directional Carbon Tip and Tail
- Binding Reinforcement Layer
- Anti-Shock Layer
- Two Layers of Titanal®
Sidewalls
- Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
Base
- Sintered Graphite Base
Additional Features
- Dura-Tec – Improved durability through the use of thicker TPU foils on the topsheet edges.
Binding Compatibility
- We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
