The same dimensions as the award winning Sidestash, the all new, lighter, more nimble Sidekick is already a top pick
Excellent for heli-skiing, snowcatting and skinning, the K2 women's Sidekick is a wide backcountry powder ski designed around K2's All-Terrain Rocker. It has a long rise in the front, making it ideal for skiing even in settled or week-old powder snow conditions. The women's Sidekick has the same dimensions as the K2 men's Sidestash, but none of the metal TNC construction. Instead you'll find a lighter, better-balanced, female-specific Bioflex 3 wood core made from laminated aspen, paulownia and bamboo. K2 wrapped this core in triaxial braiding for torsional rigidity and better turn response. Because the Sidekick is lighter by design, K2 recommends this ski for 70% powder snow and 30% variable terrain (the heavier men's Sidestash is actually oriented for 50% powder/50% variable snow). At the tips and tails on the Sidekick are metal rivet plates. Unscrew these plates and you can attach pre-cut climbing skins for extended backcountry excursions. Features- Shape and Rocker Line: K2's All Terrain Rocker features rocker in the tip and camber through the rest of the ski for performance on and off the trail
