Jr Race performance with a slick heat moldable liner
Developed for junior racers and compact city league competitors, Dalbello's Scorpion Junior racing boot offers many of the features found on the larger Scorpion race boots without the unnecessary rigidity for lighter folks. In addition to having more flex than other Scorpion racing boots, the Scorpion SR 70 has Dalbello's Super Comfort fit system instead of the DB Comp fit system, so most skiers find this boot smartly priced for all-day skiing. As the name suggests, the Scorpion SR 70 has a Dalbello flex index rating of 70 out of a possible 150, but this flex index is ideal for lightweight skiers who race on weekends and train on weeknights. It features a distinct bi-injected polyurethane shell that makes it slightly stiffer than the bi-injected PTL shell found in the Scorpion 60 Jr. racing boot. This boot offers a few extra racing features like an adjustable forward lean and four F-10 aluminum buckles with macro adjustable settings. If you're looking for a junior racing boot with more stiffness and race features that include the DB Comp fit system, check out Dalbello's Scorpion 90 race boot.
